This is Blizzard, the only male in a litter of five, he is spunky, playful, and full of love. He loves his people slaves! Not fair, just because they wash, brush and play with him, and has a big bed to sleep in, and is fed and loved. That's just love! We at the kitten palace want to thank Brian and Emily for loving our babies like we do! We could not hope for a better forever home for our kitten. Brian wrote a poem about Blizzard and I would like to share it with you.
Pink Pillows.
He pawed me with his
soft little paws,
an unexpected surprise
for he had withdrawn
his sharp claws;
this time, love taps, four;
each tap with an arrangement
of four more pink pillows,
soft cushions, much
preferred to those
scratches, and "Ouch!"-es,
though he means no harm,
our new white, fluffy kitten
she named, "jock Lawrence."
Perhaps these little love taps
of pink pillows mean to say,
"I`m sorry," and
would I join in
a less painful way to play?
Sunday, late in the day.
Dusk approaches.
Fluffy white flakes
float down from above,
framed by the view
from my living room window.
Wintertime fun
calls to me: " Run!
Come play in the snow! "
Rather than eager,
I worry in fear:
" What if I don`t,
and risk missing out?
Will such a time come again?
If not, is it my fault? "
Instead, I can choose
to be more like a kitten,
sitting still by the window -
fluffy white as the snow,
content, just watching.
Sunday, late in the afternoon.
A Persian kitty, perfumed and fair,
Strolled out through the kitchen door for air.
When a tom-cat, lithe and long,
And dirty and yellow, came along.
He sniffed at the perfumed Persian cat,
As she strutted about with much éclat,
And, wishing a bit of time to pass,
Said, " Kitty, you sure have got some class. "
" That's fitting and proper," was her reply,
As she arched her whisker over her eye;
" I'm ribboned, I sleep on a pillow of silk,
And each night they bathe me in certified milk.
But we're never contented with what we've got.
I should be joyful, but joyful I'm not.
I should be happy, happy indeed
For I am highly pedigreed."
" Take heed", said the tom-cat, with a smile,
" and trust your new-found friend for awhile.
You need to escape your back-yard fence.
All you lack, my dear, is experience."
Gay scenes of living then unfurled,
As he told her tails of the outside world.
And suggested, at last, with a luring laugh,
A trip for two down the primrose path.
The morning after the night before,
The cat returned at the hour of four.
The look in her innocent had went,
But she wore, instead, a smile of content.
And in after years, when the children came,
To the perfumed kitty of pedigreed fame,
They weren't Persian, they were black and tan,
And she told them their Pa was a traveling-man.

Butter cup was happy and very calm in the car!
So much so, she is going to drive home herself!
This is so wrong!! I wasn`t dirty!!
Are you happy? I don`t like water, you know that , right?
I need a little love now!
Buttercup lives in Schenectady now, and is loved and well taken care of.
Hi, I`m Daisy! I`m on my way to my new home. I`m going to live in Long Island New York!
I already have a friend named Chloe! She is so beautiful! We will get along great and play and explore!
Must make sure we are going in the right direction! SLOW DOWN!!!
Good thing my sister Princess came along for the ride. Long ride and I would be lonely without someone to play with!
ARE WE THERE YET?
No matter where I sit, daddy won`t step on me! I've been loved my whole life and now I know my new home loves me too! Want to thank Kim for loving our babies like we do!
I`m at my new forever home and want to share my new family!
Everyone hugs me and loves me!
I`m so happy here!
I also have a friend to talk to and pass the day.
Isn`t she beautiful!
I want to grow up just like her!
When I lay here before leaving for my new home, I could never know how happy I would be!
Big brother misses her and playing with her.
Rosie now shares a wonderful home with two small dogs and a cat friend to play with. They all get along with each other!
She's going to miss her brother and sisters but now she has her own family!
Our baby Princess was the last to leave and the hardest to let go!
